Urgent Appeal:The Haven rescue centre in central Bulgaria has been ordered to close in three months. If homes cannot be found for the 55+ dogs they will seized by the authorities and destroyed.
These dogs are living at present in Central Bulgaria and are been looked after by Lucy Irvine and her team of supporters. With no warning the rescue centre has been informed it must close due to objections from residents in the nearest village, if homes are not found within 3 months, these dogs will be taken away by the Bulgarian officials and destroyed.
This is going to be a massive effort but it can be done! foster homes are needed until passports can be arranged, forever homes and donations also. Any help will be appreciated, please contact Save Lucy's Dogs Facebook page here.
